My heart is SO full!! Yesterday, these three lovely ladies hosted a woodlands-themed baby shower in Michael’s honor. Kendall, Emily, and my sis-in-law Rachael all went above and beyond to make yesterday’s shower so very special! I cannot thank them enough for everything they did!!
It was a beautiful hot sunny day and it was so surreal to wake up and get ready in the morning for my baby shower. When Ryan and I walked into Emily’s gorgeous home, not one single detail was overlooked! It put Pinterest to shame! These ladies should seriously go into the party planning business — They’re so creative when it comes to bringing a party to life (see Kendall’s son’s birthday party here!). All of the food, drinks, and snacks went along with the shower theme. The house was filled with balloons, cute forest animals, and there was such an excitement in the air! They had a baby food smelling contest and a precious station for guests to make personalized onesies and bibs for Michael. Ryan and I + the grandparents each had a personalized pin to wear. There was even a “happy trails” party favor station for guests to make their own trail mix. How amazing does that all sound?!
I made sure to arrive early so I could capture all of the details!! It was all so incredibly perfect! I was overwhelmed with happiness taking in the moments of the day and so very grateful for these ladies who made it all happen!! 🙂
Ryan and I went home with a car full of goodies for Michael and so many cute things to decorate his nursery and playroom with. We are so appreciative of those that could attend and missed those that weren’t there (with August being a busy vacation month many couldn’t be there to celebrate with us). It will be a day that Ryan and I will always remember — our first baby shower! We can’t wait to tell Michael all about it one day — he is already loved by so many! What a lucky boy!
“Morning dew” for the pitcher of water… how cute?!
The food was delicious!!
OK… I’m OBSESSED with the woodlands diaper cake!! It’s already on display in Michael’s playroom. Precious!!
